Our Commitment to you

We are committed to providing you with a positive experience using Dr. Guru. If you have had a negative experience with anyway with our website or the Offer Providers who make offers through our website (referred to herein as "Offer Providers"), then please contact us immediately so that we can help you resolve your problem. We will work with you to resolve your problem and improve the quality of our Offer Providers.

Our commitment to you includes being transparent about our business model. This is how most of the vouchers on Dr. Guru work:

  • we work with Offer Providers to get great offers for deals we sell on DrGuru.com as vouchers;
  • you purchase and pay for one of these vouchers, and then redeem your voucher at the Offer Provider listed on the voucher;
  • the Offer Provider notifies Dr. Guru that the voucher has been redeemed;
  • we send an email to both you and the Offer Provider confirming that the voucher is redeemed;
  • the Offer Provider asks us for payment in exchange for providing you with the good(s) or service(s) listed on the voucher; and
  • we pay the Offer Provider after receipt of their payment request.

Accordingly, we have the following refund policy:

Voucher values

Your voucher has two values associated with it: (1) the amount paid, inclusive of any applicable taxes; and (2) the promotional value. The "amount paid" is actual amount you paid for the voucher. The "promotional value" is the additional value of the voucher beyond the amount paid. Please note that the promotional value cannot be combined with other offers and it does not cover tax or gratuity.

If you have any problem with the Offer Provider please contact us immediately and we will work with you to resolve the problem.

Two Different Types of Vouchers

The Dr. Guru site offers two different kinds of vouchers: (1) a "regular voucher"; and (2) a time is of the essence voucher (referred to herein as a "TOE voucher"). You voucher will indicate whether it is a "regular voucher" or a "TOE voucher."

A regular voucher may list an expiration date, and if it does, you must redeem it by the expiration date for the promotional value.

A TOE voucher will list an exact time window during which you must complete the following steps to be eligible to redeem the TOE voucher for the promotional value: (a) appear at the storefront listed on the TOE voucher; and (b) present your TOE voucher to the Offer Provider. A TOE voucher expires if you do not complete steps (a) and (b) within the exact time window listed on the TOE voucher. Whether you have completed steps (a) and (b) within the exact time window listed on the TOE voucher is within the sole discretion of the Offer Provider.

Our refund policy varies depending on whether your voucher is a regular voucher or a TOE voucher.

Refunds for unredeemed vouchers that have expired

Dr. Guru will automatically issue a partial refund for any unredeemed voucher that has expired. Your refund amount will vary depending on whether your voucher is a regular voucher or a TOE voucher. The refunds for each are described below:

(1) For regular vouchers, we will refund 90% of the amount paid. The refund will be made to your original form of payment within 30 days of your voucher expiring.

(2) For TOE vouchers, we will refund 80% of the amount paid. The refund will be made to your original form of payment within 30 days of your voucher expiring.

Refunds for unredeemed vouchers that have not expired

Any unredeemed voucher that has not expired may be returned to Dr. Guru within 72 hours of purchase for a full refund of the amount paid. To return an unredeemed voucher that has not expired, please contact us from your user account after logging on to DrGuru.com. For detailed instructions on contacting us, please refer to our Frequently Asked Questions.

After 72 hours from purchase, Dr. Guru shall not issue you a full refund for any unexpired voucher for any reason. Instead, you have two options.

Your first option is that you may redeem your voucher at the Offer Provider before it expires.

Your second option is that you may wait for the voucher to expire and Dr. Guru will automatically issue you a partial refund as described above.

Redeemed vouchers

We cannot issue you a refund after the voucher is redeemed. However, if you have a complaint about the quality of the goods or services provided by the Offer Provider, we are happy to step in and attempt to help you solve any dispute with the Offer Provider.

If you have a problem with the quality of the goods or services provided by an Offer Provider in the course of redeeming a voucher purchased through DrGuru.com, please contact us and let us know about your problem. We are committed to helping you have a positive experience when you use Dr. Guru. Although we cannot guarantee any result in resolving any dispute between you and the Offer Provider, we will act in good faith and attempt to resolve your problem. By purchasing any voucher through DrGuru.com, you agree that the Offer Provider is solely responsible for the care and quality of the goods or services they provide.
